Huang Meijin is a representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Nanping City, Fujian Province, specializing in the production techniques of gold oil droplets for kiln and lamp making. He has been engaged in research and firing of lamp making for over 40 years. By excavating fragments of Song Dynasty pottery, after ten years of research and development, the unique "Golden Oil Drop Pottery" was created, filling the gap in the world's ceramic firing technology. The works have been collected by top domestic and international institutions such as the Victoria Albert Museum, the British Museum, and the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Among them, the "Wanshan Can be Stained" work set a modern architectural lantern auction record in 2018 for 26 million yuan. It has won national honorary titles such as exemplary individual of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection, National Light Industry model worker, and has been certified as an international master of arts and crafts
